We are interested in wireless information research which includes wireless QoS protocols, wireless resource managements, mobility managements, network performance modeling, and full-duplex MAC protocols in WLAN system. Especially, we focus on next generation wireless internet areas such as 5G cellular systems, broadband wireless systems, satellite systems, military communication systems, and high efficiency WLAN systems.

Our research issues include not only traditional layer-oriented techniques but also cross-layer techniques. To evaluate the performance of developed schemes, we design end-to-end networks and simulate them using the Riverbed Modeler network simulator.

For standard works, we are interested in 3GPP, IEEE 802.11, IEEE 802.15, and ETSI DVB-S2/RCS, etc.
