LTE 모델에 UL power control이 추가 되었습니다.

LTE Model Enhancements
Uplink Power Control

The LTE model now uses uplink power control to manage the transmit power of UEs. This way, each UE adjusts its transmit power to an optimal level for achieving the desired received signal quality at its eNodeB while minimizing power consumption and co-channel interference to neighboring cells. The LTE model supports uplink power control for PUSCH and PRACH transmissions, as described in 3GPP’s TS 36.213 and TS 36.321 specifications.

Note: Because this feature modifies the basic operation of LTE, you might see changes in the results obtained from existing models.

In addition, UEs can periodically report power headroom (the difference between current and maximum transmit power) to the eNodeB.

Riverbed Modeler 18.0.0 is a major release of the software. It contains new features, enhancements to
existing capabilities, and a realignment of product functionality. This release also implements suggestions
and fixes.

Important Notes for Riverbed Modeler

Some Features Have Been Removed
In keeping with Riverbed’s realignment of its product line, some features have been removed from Modeler
in this release. Most of these features are available in selected Riverbed SteelCentral products.
Features no longer available in Modeler include:

  • Flow Analysis (available in SteelCentral NetPlanner)
  • IPv6 Planning and Operations (available in SteelCentral NetPlanner)
  • Mainframe Characterization Editor
  • NetMapper (available in SteelCentral NetAuditor)
  • NetDoctor (available in SteelCentral NetAuditor)
  • Planning and Design (available in SteelCentral NetPlanner)
  • PSTN (available in SteelCentral NetPlanner)
  • SPM for BMC
  • SPM for CA
  • SPM for HPOV
ODK Is Now Standard
The OPNET Development Kit is now standard functionality in Modeler.

Example Models Reorganized
The example models directory (<reldir>\models\std\example_models) has been reorganized. It now
contains separate sub-directories for common models (usable by all Riverbed analysis software),
Modeler-specific models, and models usable with the Academic Edition of Modeler.
